------------------Katelyn Spencer received a call from Brian Jeffries, the young man responsible for the bomb at Kevin and Emma's wedding in California.  Later, Brian showed up at Katelyn's apartment, where Katelyn revealed that Brian is her brother!

Katelyn Spencer's apartment....

Katelyn comes out of her kitchen carrying two plates with hamburgers, which she places on the table in the small dining area adjoining the living room in her apartment.

As she sets the table for lunch, her brother, Brian Jeffries, comes in from the bedroom.

"Feeling better?"  Katelyn asks.

"Oh, yeah, the shower helped,"  Brian says. "Hey, something smells good."

"I made us some hamburgers, and the fries should be ready in a minute."

"Still a great little cook,"  Brian says, putting his shirt on.

Katelyn sighs.  "Yeah.  Well, I sure didn't learn from Mom, did I?  Or, the woman who called herself our Mom, I should say."  She looks at her brother and smiles, then walks over and embraces him, putting her arms around his waist.  "Brian, it's so good to see you.  So good to have you here."

"Yeah, it's great to be here with you too, sis.  I only wish it were under different circumstances."

Katelyn looks up at him.  "So do I.  Brian, I'm scared for you.  But, you can hide here.  No one knows that we're brother and sister, and the police would never think to look for you here."

"Katie, I can't stay here long,"  Brian says.  "I only came here to hide out for a few days until I figure out where I'm gonna go next and what I'm gonna do.  I have to get out of the country. It won't be long before the cops in California are gonna have an APB out on me nationwide. I killed three people, Katie.  I have to disappear.  And I sure don't wanna drag you down with me."

"You won't,"  Katelyn says.

"Yeah, eventually, I will if I stay here.  Someone spots me, and the cops are gonna be onto me. And then they'll find out you're my sister and put two and two together."

"Brian, how are you gonna disappear?  Do you have any money?"

"No.  No, I don't, and I'll figure something out."  Brian walks to the window and looks out.  "Damn.  Damn this whole mess.  I thought I had this all taken care of.  Josh McQueen was gonna go down for that explosion.  He was supposed to die, too, but then, before I could get to him, the son of a bitch disappeared for several weeks.  Next thing I know, he's taken hostages at Falcon Crest and gets his dumb ass arrested. But you know whose fault this REALLY is, don't you?  It's HER fault.  And his!  If they hadn't......."

"Brian, don't,"  Katelyn says.  "Don't torture yourself anymore like this."

"They were supposed to die in that explosion, Katie.  ALL of them. That whole family.  But they all survived, and one of them is.........running this big company.  A company that you and I should be a part of!"

Katelyn lowers her head and wipes a tear from her face.

Brian walks over to her.  "Have you seen him since you've been living here in Dallas?"

"Only from a distance.  I've tailed him a couple of times.  Followed him home, just to see that great big mansion he lives in."

"We should live in a place like that, Katie,"  Brian says.  "Instead of the way we've had to live. Hand to mouth.  You living here in this tiny apartment while he lives in some great big mansion.  But all that's about to come to an end for him."

"Brian, what do you mean by that?"  Asks a nervous Katelyn.

"I mean that before I leave Dallas, if it's the last thing I do, I'm gonna take him down, Katie. I'm gonna make him suffer the way that we suffered growing up."

"Brian, listen to me.  It's way too risky,"  Katelyn says.  "Don't you think that I've wanted to hurt him?  But I couldn't risk it."

Brian looks at her.  "No, but I can.  I'm already wanted for the deaths of three people, and an unborn child.  What's one more?  He survived that explosion, but, our brother won't be so lucky next time.  I'm gonna make Austin Wentworth pay for being the one that bitch kept."

Wentworth Industries....

Austin's secretary buzzes his office.  "Austin, Tripp McKay is here to see you," she says.

Austin remains silent for a few seconds.  "Thank you," he finally says.  "Please tell Mr. McKay he can come in."  Austin stands from his desk, walks over to his bar, and pours himself a drink as Tripp walks in.

"Hello, Austin,"  Tripp says.

"Tripp.  Care for a drink?"

Tripp smiles.  "Don't mind if I do.  It's a little early in the day for me, but, I think signing this deal calls for a celebration.  And I hope you don't have any plans for lunch, because I'd like to treat to a steak lunch at The Cattlemens Club."

"Thank you, but I already have plans for lunch," says Austin.

"Oh, too bad.  Well, another time, then."

"I don't think you're gonna want to be doing much celebrating yourself after I say what I have to say."

"What do you mean?"  Tripp asks.

"When were you planning on telling me who your partner is in this little deal, Tripp?"  Austin asks.

The smile disappears from Tripp's face.  "I don't know what you mean."

"Yeah, you know what and WHO I mean.  Bradley Stone.  I know that Stone is your partner in this deal to buy my new drill.  I don't like being lied to and tricked, McKay."

Tripp is caught off guard by Austin somehow knowing the truth.  For a few seconds, he is speechless.  "What makes you think that Brad Stone is my partner?"

"I don't think it.....I KNOW it.  So don't lie to me.  I can see it in your face, and you haven't even bothered to deny it."

"Austin, I.........you're right.  I'm sorry,"  Tripp says.  "I shouldn't have lied to you.  Westar couldn't come up with this money on its own. And I know how you feel about Brad, and that if you knew he was involved in this deal, there was no way you'd do business with me."

"You're right about that,"  says Austin, taking a sip of his drink.

"Look, man, put aside your personal feelings.  This deal means a LOT of money not only to Westar but to Wentworth Industries as well.  Are you willing to throw this deal out the window just because you and your cousin Brad Stone have this hate-on for each other?"

Austin turns to him.  "No, I'm not."

Tripp breathes a premature sigh of relief.  "Good, then we still have a deal?"

"No, Tripp, we don't have a deal."

"But you just said......"

"I said that I'm not willing to throw this deal out the window because I hate my cousin.  But I AM willing to throw it out the window because I can't trust a man who would lie to me by omission by keeping something as important as a secret partner from me.  How do I know you wouldn't lie to me or betray me in the future?"

"I wouldn't.  You have my word on that."

Austin laughs.  "Your word?  What the hell good is your word when you've already proven you can't be trusted?"

"Austin, look......"

"We're done here,"  Austin says.   "You know where the door is."

Tripp looks at him for a moment, then walks past him and to the door.  Tripp pauses, then turns back to him.  "You're making a huge mistake, Wentworth.  You're never gonna be able to find another company able to pay you what I was willing to pay.  Not unless you sell out to Exxon or something. And then you'll be betraying every independent oil company in Texas.  None of them will ever do business with you again."

Austin looks at him.  "That's my problem, isn't it?"

Tripp shakes his head, then turns and walks out.  Austin pours himself another drink.

Sue Ellen's home....afternoon

"Jenna, thank you for coming over,"  Sue Ellen says, greeting Jenna Wade in the foyer of her home that afternoon.

"Harris and I were out of town for a few weeks,"  Jenna says.  "He decided to take a little vacation and let one of his vice presidents run Ryland Transport for a while.  I came back when Charlie called and told me she was taking a job in New York.  I wanted to come and see you."

"I'm glad you did,"  Sue Ellen says, she and Jenna walking into the living room.

"Sue Ellen, how are you holding up?"  Jenna asks.

"Not so well, I'm afraid.  I have to admit, I'm really frightened."

"I know,"  Jenna says. "Sue Ellen, if anyone knows what you're going through right now, I do."

"I know."

"I'll never forget how frightened I was when I was arrested and charged with Naldo's murder all those years ago.  Those horrible, endless days of waiting to learn my fate."

"Jenna, how did you cope with that?  Without going crazy?"  Sue Ellen asks.

"I barely did.  But I had Bobby.  He was a big help and a great comfort to me. So was Charlie.  Bobby truly believed in my innocence, and he didn't stop until he proved it."

"Catlin is the same way,"  says Sue Ellen.  "He believes I'm innocent.  I wish I could be so sure.  I was drugged that night, and I don't remember anything."

"It really is amazing how similar your situation is to mine,"  Jenna says.  "I was chloroformed the night Naldo was killed.  I went out like a light, and when I woke up, the police burst into the room, the gun was in my hand, and Naldo was dead with a bullet hole in his chest just a few feet away.  Even I was convinced I had killed him.  But all the while I was being framed."

"I don't think the resolution to my situation will turn out like that.  I don't know why or how anyone would frame me for this."

"Sue Ellen, I've known you for a very long time.  And I just cannot see you taking someone's life."

"You forget, Jenna.  I HAVE tried before.  When I shot J.R.  So, I most definitely am capable of physical violence against someone else."

"Sue Ellen, I know how hard it is, BELIEVE me,"  Jenna says.  "But try to keep the faith.  I thought that my situation was hopeless.  Remember, I had already been convicted.  I was in prison, and then, thanks to Bobby, the truth came out."

"Truth,"  Sue Ellen says.  "I'm not even sure what that is anymore."

Catlin Oil....

"Damn it, Bill, I am working against the clock here," Catlin says, talking to another man in his office at Catlin Oil.  "I talked to Jay Smithfield, Sue Ellen's attorney this morning.  Her trial has been put on the calendar for two weeks from today.  Unless we can find something to help her, I'm afraid she might go to prison for Brittany's murder."

"I know, Catlin, and I'm sorry.  I'll keep digging," Bill says.  "But your wife kept a very low profile after she left you.  She moved around a lot, which made it harder to track her."

"There has to be something."

"I have a couple of my best guys working on it right now,"  Bill says.  "Trying to find those missing years in Brittany's life.  The last two years are especially hard to find.  She went into hiding for several months before arriving in Dallas last year."

"But why?"  Catlin asks.

"That's what I have my men trying to find out."

"What about this private detective who tracked Brittany down?  The one John Ross hired?"

"Steve a.k.a. Bum Jones,"  Bill says.  "I've already talked to him.  He didn't have any better luck piecing together the last couple years of Brittany's life any more than I did.  He just happened to get lucky.  She had already come out of hiding when he found her.  It was almost as if Brittany WANTED to be found, it was so easy."

"Yeah, I always thought that was strange,"  says Catlin.  "I remember you couldn't find any trace of Brittany when I first wanted to file for divorce back in 2014. Then all of a sudden John Ross's P.I. is able to find her with no problem?  Something about that just doesn't sit right."

"I'll keep digging."

"Bill, what about any associates of Brittany's?"  Catlin asks.  "Anyone she was in contact with, or close to?  Even people from years ago when she and I were together.  I want you to check each one of them out.  Someone has to know something."

"Will do, Catlin.  It'd be a lot easier if your wife had any family left."

"Yeah, but she didn't.  All of Brittany's family is dead.  She did mention to me once about a cousin of hers who lived up in Canada.  But, hell, that was 20 years ago, and even then she hadn't seen or spoken to this cousin since she was a kid.  For all I know he may be dead by now."

"Male cousin, huh?"

"Yeah."

"You remember his name?"  Bill asks.

"Yeah.  Ummm.....Damian.  Damian Peterson."

"Anything else you can tell me about him?"

"Only that he was about Brittany's age.  They grew up together, until they were about fourteen, then Damian's father died, and his mother took him and moved up to Canada. Brittany never saw him again.  I never met the guy."

"Alright,"  Bill says, writing down the information.  "I'll see if I can track him down.  May be a wild goose chase, but, if he was the only family Brittany had left, she may have contacted him, even if they hadn't seen each other in decades."

"Bill, thank you.  I appreciate you coming all the way down here to Texas to do this for me."

"No problem, Catlin,"  Bill says, standing from his seat.  "You and I go way back.  Your brother was a good friend of mine.  If it hadn't been for Larry Ewing, I wouldn't be a private detective today."

"I hired you because I know you're the best,"  Catlin says, shaking his friend's hand.

"I'll be in touch."

"Thanks, Bill,"  Catlin says as his friend leaves.

Westar....

"How the hell did Austin find out that you and I were partners on that deal to buy his damned drill?"  Brad asks, pacing angrily around Tripp's office at Westar.

"I have no idea,"  Tripp says. "The point is, the guy KNOWS and our deal with Wentworth is off."

"Damn,"  Brad says.  "How? Someone had to tip him off. Have you told anyone else about this?"

"No, of course not.  The only people who knew about this were you, me, Cliff, and my secretary."

"And my secretary, Brenda, of course."

"Maybe it was one of them. My secretary or yours," says Tripp says.

"Well then it would have to be yours,"  Brad says.  "Brenda has worked for me for a long time, and I trust her."

"Maybe it was neither of them.  Maybe it was Cliff."

"What?  You're outta your mind."

"I don't mean that he did it on purpose,"  says Tripp.  "But you know how he is.  Cliff was just in California visiting Emma and her new baby.  Emma lives in the same house as Austin's mother. Maybe Cliff let it slip to Katherine Wentworth about our deal."

"No way.  Katherine may be his sister, but Cliff hates that woman almost as much as he hates the Ewings, and there's no way he'd tell her anything, not even by accident."

"Okay,"  says Tripp.  "I'm just trying to figure out what happened."

"What about your secretary?"  Brad asks.

"Peggy has been with Westar for 16 years.  She'd never sabotage this company like that.  What about your Brenda?"

"Okay, how's this.........I do some investigating on Brenda, keep a close eye on her, and you do the same with your secretary and any other employee here who may have had access to that information.  I wanna know who the hell sabotaged this deal, and I wanna make them pay.  No matter who it is."

"Yeah, so do I,"  Tripp says.  "This could've meant a lot of money to both of us."

"And not only that......it couldn't meant burying Ewing Oil,"  says Brad.

Meanwhile....Ewing Oil....

Standing at the window in his office at Ewing Oil, John Ross is listening to Brad and Tripp's conversation, thanks to the bugs Bum had planted in Tripp's office.  He smiles upon hearing how upset the two men are that their deal had fallen through.  "Now, that's the kinda good news I like to hear,"  John Ross says to himself.

Southfork....that night

While Alex plays with Michael on the floor, Bobby, Ann, Christopher, Courtney, Lucas, Heather, Krystina, Sue Ellen, and Catlin are having before dinner drinks in the den at Southfork.

"I thought John Ross would've been home by now," Sue Ellen says.

"He was still working when I left the office just a little while ago," Christopher tells her.  "He said he was finishing up and he'd be home soon."

"Well I don't know how much longer Maria can hold dinner," says Ann.

"Where's Lucy tonight?"  Bobby asks.

"Lucy is havin' dinner with Mitch tonight,"  replies Ann.

"Mitch Cooper?"  Asks a surprised Bobby.

"That's right.  She called him and asked him to meet her for dinner."

"Well, that's a surprise."

"Lucas, your mother came to see me today,"  Sue Ellen says.

"Really?  I knew she said she was planning to see you one day."

"I was very glad that she came over.  She helped me a lot."

"I know my Mom went through a very similar situation as you, Aunt Sue Ellen.  She doesn't talk much about that time, but, I do know how my Dad came to the rescue at the last minute, found out who really killed Charlie's father, and got my Mom out of prison."

"That's right,"  says Christopher.  "Dad was quite the hero back then."

"Back then?  What do ya mean BACK THEN?"  Bobby asks.  "I thought I was STILL a hero," he says to the family's laughter.

"Bobby, you will ALWAYS be a hero to this family," Sue Ellen says.

Bobby smiles at her.  "Thank you, Sue Ellen," he says. He notices that Catlin appears to be down tonight, so he walks over.  "Catlin, you don't have much to say tonight.  Everything alright?"

"Sue Ellen wasn't gonna tell the family tonight, but, her trial date has been set,"  replies Catlin.  "Trial starts in two weeks."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Me too.  I'm also worried about my son."

"Because of the trial?"  Bobby asks.

"Yeah.  C.J. has distanced himself from myself and Sue Ellen.  I see him at the office every day, but, he doesn't wanna be around her, Bobby."

"Can ya really blame him, Catlin?  Sue Ellen is about to go on trial for the murder of that young man's mother."

"No, I can't blame him.  It just hurts.  I love my son, Bobby.  But I love Sue Ellen, too, and I truly believe in her innocence.  I feel torn.  I can't abandon her now, not when she's about to stand trial.  But what if standing by her means I lose my son?"

A sympathetic Bobby puts his hand on his cousin's shoulder.

At that moment, a happy and smiling John Ross comes into the room.  "Evenin', fam'ly," he says, immediately kissing Krystina.

"You're sure in a happy mood,"  Krystina says.

"And why shouldn't I be?"  John Ross asks.  "Hey, Mama."  He kisses Sue Ellen, then the smile disappears from his face when he sees Catlin standing beside Bobby.  "Catlin," he says coldly.

"John Ross."

"Well, John Ross, tell us, what's the occasion for this good mood that you're in,"  Sue Ellen says.

"I will.  But I need a drink first.  Courtney, darlin', would you mind fixin' me a drink?"  John Ross asks.

Christopher takes offense to this.  "John Ross, Courtney's my WIFE, she's not your secretary now," he says.

"Oh, I'm sorry, darlin'," John Ross says to Courtney.  "I'm just so use to askin' you at the office.  That's okay, I'll fix my own drink."  He goes to the bar.

"Why don't you just do that, John Ross, and tell us what made your day," says Bobby.

"Well, Uncle Bobby, you remember me tellin' you and Christopher the other mornin' about that new drill Wentworth Industries had developed?"  John Ross asks, pouring himself a drink.

"Of course."

John Ross turns to them with a smile.  "Well, Westar and Stone Oil had been in the process of teamin' up to buy exclusive rights to that drill.  But I got the good news today that the deal fell through, so Tripp McKay and Bradley Bastard Barnes, lost out on that piece of luck."

"Well that IS good news,"  Christopher says.

"How'd you hear about this?"  Bobby asks.

John Ross laughs.  "Uncle Bobby, you should know by now that I have my father's talent for findin' things out that I wanna know."

"John Ross, how does this help us?"  Christopher asks.  "We already discussed this.  We don't have the capital to buy that drill from Wentworth."

"Not alone, we don't.  But with partners........we could do it."

"Partners?"  Bobby asks.

"That's right.  The new Cartel."

"John Ross, Westar and Stone Oil are a part of the Cartel,"  says Bobby.  "They've all ostracized Ewing Oil.  It's a given that Westar and Stone would never do business with us, but neither would the other five companies in the Cartel, either."

"Not as things stand now,"  John Ross says.  "But what if Westar and Stone were booted out of the Cartel?"

"And just how would that happen?"  Christopher asks.

"Maybe the Cartel would find a reason to get rid of Westar and Stone,"  John Ross replies with a smile.  Bobby and Christopher exchange looks of concern.

Falcon Crest.....night

Meanwhile, Emma Ryland is putting her infant son Logan in his crib when Kevin Channing walks into the nursery at Falcon Crest.  He comes over to the crib and looks at the baby.  "He gets more beautiful every time I see him,"  Kevin says.  "Just like his mother."

"Thank you,"  Emma says.  "Where is everyone?  The house seems unusually quiet tonight."

"Dad took Katherine out to dinner,"  Kevin replies.  "Aunt Emma and Angela also went out, and I have no idea where Michael is."

"Your father and Katherine are out?"

"Yes.  Dad said that Katherine is going to Dallas tomorrow to see her son Austin, and he wanted to have a night out with her before she left."

"So, we're basically the only people here?"  Emma asks.

"Yeah, except for Chang-Li, and this little guy right here,"  Kevin says with a smile.  "Kinda fun, having this great big house all to ourselves for a change, isn't it?"

"Yeah."

"Hey, I'm gonna go take a shower real quick, you wanna join me?"  Kevin asks.

"Thanks, but I already took one while you were working out."

"Okay,"  Kevin says, kissing her.  "Well, when I come out, we can......you know."  He kisses her again.

"So hurry and go take that shower,"  Emma says.

"Be out in fifteen minutes,"  Kevin says.  He smiles at her, then leaves the nursery.

After she hears Kevin go into the bathroom down the hall, she looks down at her infant son, who is now asleep.  Emma smiles at the baby, then quickly leaves the room.  Hearing Kevin start the shower water, Emma goes into a room at the end of the hall and closes the door behind her.  "Richard and Katherine are out, so now's my chance," she says quietly to herself.  "Now then, Auntie, let's see if you have any secrets hidden in this room anywhere." Emma walks over to the closet, opens it, and sees that Richard's clothes are on one side, Katherine's on the other.  Reaching up to a top shelf, she finds a box, takes it down, and finds some of Katherine's things.  But nothing but nothing of any interest.  She moves on to the dresser.  Opening the first three drawers, she finds nothing but clothing.  Opening the bottom drawer, she finds more of Katherine's clothing, as well as some scarves.  But hidden underneath, Emma finds a small box.  Emma takes the box out and opens it.  Realizing she is pushed for time, she rushes to the door, slowly opens it, and listens down the hall.  Good. Kevin is still in the shower.  Closing the bedroom door again, Emma rummages through the contents of the box and finds a photograph.  She picks it up and looks at the photo of two

infants.  Curious, Emma digs further into the box where she finds another photo of a third infant.  She picks it up and looks at it.  Turning the photo over, she reads the name on back......'Austin.'  "So this is a photo of Katherine's son Austin.  But who are these other two babies?"  At the bottom of the box is a folded and faded piece of paper.  Emma picks it up.  Unfolding it, she looks at the paper and can see that it's a birth certificate.  A birth certificate for triplets.  She again looks at the photo of the infant Austin, then at the other two.  "Oh my God," she says to herself, realizing what this discovery means.  "Katherine gave birth to triplets?  But, the only one anybody knows about is Austin.  So......where are these other two?  What happened to them?"  Emma quickly replaces the photos and the birth certificate back into the box the way she had found them and puts the box back into the bottom of Katherine's drawer.  Then she hurries to the door, opens it just a crack, and peeks down the hall.  Kevin is out of the shower, but still in the bathroom.  Emma quietly closes the door to Richard and Emma's bedroom, and hurries down the hall to her and Kevin's room, just as Kevin comes out of the bathroom.

The Krebbs Ranch....the next morning

Dylan walks to his closet in his bedroom the next morning and opens it.  Walking in, he takes down the shoe box from the top shelf where he keeps his vodka.  Opening the box, Dylan takes out the bottle, opens it, and takes two quick drinks.  After a brief pause, he takes a longer drink of the vodka.  He pauses again, then as he starts to take another drink, he is startled by a knock at his bedroom door.  Quickly shoving the bottle back into the shoe box, he places it back on the top shelf, closes his closet door, and then almost stumbles as he attempts to compose himself.  Just then, Conner walks in.

"Dylan, you okay?"  Conner asks.

"Ummm.....yeah, man.  Just fine,"  replies a nervous Dylan.

"You sure?"  Conner asks.  "You're acting a little weird."

"Yeah, I'm.......I'm fine," Dylan replies.  "I, uh, I just didn't sleep very good last night."

"Well, breakfast is ready."

"Yeah, cool.  I'll be down in a minute.  I just gotta, umm, change."

Conner gives his brother a strange look, then turns and walks out of the room.

After Conner has left, Dylan returns to his closet, gets his vodka from the shoe box, and takes one final sip.

A minute later, Conner walks into the kitchen and takes a seat at the table, where Ray and Donna are already having breakfast.

"He awake?"  Ray asks.

"Yeah, he is,"  Conner replies.  "He's acting kinda strange, though."

"Strange, how?"  Donna asks.

"I really don't know,"  Conner says as Dylan walks in, Conner noticing that his brother really didn't change clothes, but simply had taken off the button up shirt he had on.

"Morning,"  Dylan says with a smile, in a seemingly good mood as he takes his seat at the table.

"Good morning,"  says Donna.  "Sleep well?"

"Like a rock," Dylan replies, causing Conner to give him a strange look since Dylan had just told him he hadn't slept well the previous night.

"Well, I got some good news for you fellas,"  says Ray.  "I have to go over to Fort Worth today, and I asked Heath to ride with me.  I wanted to show him the stock yards and everything.  So, you fellas can knock off work around lunch time, and have the rest of the afternoon free.  How's that sound?"

"Sounds great,"  Conner says.  "What do you think, Dylan?  You wanna drive into Braddock and shoot some pool this afternoon?"

"Umm, ya know what?  I think I'm gonna just use my free afternoon to drive into Dallas and hang out, y'know?"  Dylan says.  "Maybe drop over and see my grandmother again.  I'll probably hit Todd up for lunch or something."

"That sounds nice,"  Donna says.

"Conner, maybe your buddy C.J. will take off work early and hang out with you,"  Dylan says.

"Yeah, maybe so, since my brother doesn't seem to want to."

"Well, y'know, I mean, you and I, we're together a lot.  I just kinda want some time to myself,"  Dylan says, smiling strangely.

"You sure you're okay?"  Ray asks.

"Yeah, Ray, I'm great,"  Dylan replies in a happy tone.  "I feel good this morning."

Ray smiles.  "Glad to hear that."

"Yeah, I feel good,"  Dylan repeats with a slight laugh.

Conner looks across the table at his brother, puzzled by Dylan's bizarre behavior and his mood change from their conversation upstairs.  Privately, Conner worries that Dylan's problems are flaring up again.

Katelyn Spencer's apartment....

Katelyn and Brian are having breakfast at her apartment that morning.  Brian takes a last bite of his sausage, then puts his fork down.  "Wow, that was good, Katie,"  he says.

"I'm glad," Katelyn says with a smile.  "Brian it was so good having you here last night."

"Yeah, last night was pretty awesome, wasn't it?  Chilling on the couch, watching a couple movies, pigging out on popcorn and chips.  It was just like the old days."

"Yeah, the good old days.  God, I wish things hadn't changed. I wish we had never tried to find our real parents.  We were so much happier when we were ignorant of any knowledge of them."

"When were we ever ignorant of any knowledge of them?"  Brian asks, standing to his feet.  "Our beloved adoptive mother told us early on that we weren't her real children."

"I didn't know until longer after you had found out,"  Katelyn says.

"Yeah,"  says Brian.  "Thank God you were spared knowing until later.  I found out when I was 9-years-old who they were.  And later I did my research."

"We never should've started this,"  Katelyn says.

"You wanted revenge as much as I did."

"I know,"  Katelyn says sadly.  "That was before."

"Before WHAT, Katie?"  Brian asks.

"Before I met Jimmy and fell in love with him, and before I had to watch my brother on the run from the cops."

"I really blew this, Katie.  I screwed up big time.  They were supposed to die, Katie.  Our parents, Jeremy Lord and Katherine Wentworth.  All their other bastard kids, and our brother......Austin.  How the hell can a woman give birth to triplets and give two of them away?"

"I don't know,"  Katelyn says, now in tears.

Brian walks over, kneels down to her as she still sits at the table and puts his arms around her.  "I hate her, Katie.  I hate Katherine, I hate Jeremy Lord, and I hate Austin.  I'm gonna get them, sis.  I'm gonna get them ALL,"  Brian says in an angry tone.  Suddenly, the two are startled by a knock at the door.  "Who's that?"  Asks a nervous Brian.

"I don't know,"  Katelyn replies.  "The bedroom.  Go hide in the bedroom."

Brian quickly grabs his cup of coffee and rushes into Katelyn's bedroom, closing the door. The knock sounds again.

"Coming!"  Katelyn yells as she hurries to clear the table of any evidence that two people had been eating breakfast.  Once she's sure that no trace of Brian is left, she goes to the door and opens it to find Jimmy there.

"Morning," he says.

"Jimmy.....what are you doing here?" Katelyn asks.

"What?  Did you forget?  We were supposed to drive to school together this morning."

"Yeah, umm, I did forget.  I'm sorry, it was a crazy night.  I was up studying, and didn't get much sleep."

"Katie, are you okay?"  Jimmy asks.

"I'm fine.  Yeah, uh, just let me get my books and purse, and I'll be ready to go."

"Yeah, okay."

"Just wait here."  Katelyn rushes into the bedroom, where she finds Brian listening at the door.

"Is that him?  That Jimmy guy you kept talking about?"  Brian whispers.

"Yes, now be quiet before he hears you.  Listen, he's waiting. I have to go to class.  I'll be back this afternoon.  Stay out of sight."

"Yeah, I forgot my sister's a college girl.  Have fun."

"I love you,"  Katelyn says, kissing him.  She then quickly leaves.

Southfork....

Lucy walks into the foyer at Southfork that morning as Ann comes down the stairs.  "Well, mornin',"  Ann says.

"Hi, Ann."

"So how did your dinner with Mitch go last night?"

Lucy sighs.  "It didn't go at all. He never showed up."

"What?"

"You know he took a position at the hospital in Dallas recently.  He called me while I was waiting at the restaurant and said he got called into the hospital on an emergency, but he shouldn't be too long.  Then, after I'd waited about an hour, he called again and asked to reschedule our dinner because he was gonna be at the hospital longer than expected."

"Oh, sweety, I'm sorry."

"It's okay.  Funny how some things never change.  I've been divorced from Mitch for years and I'm still waiting on him and being stood up by him, just like when we were married. I'm gonna go get some breakfast."

"Okay,"  Ann says as her cell phone rings.  She takes it from her pocket.  "Oh, Lucy, it's Emma.  I'll talk to ya later."

"Sure,"  Lucy says as Ann walks away.

"Emma?"  Ann says, walking in the den to take her daughter's call.

Falcon Crest....

"Mom, I only have a minute to talk, but I have some news,"  Emma says.  "Richard and Katherine went out last night, so I decided to do some snooping."

Southfork....

"Snoopin'?"  Ann asks.  "Emma, I told you I didn't want you takin' any unnecessary chances where that woman is concerned."

Falcon Crest....

"She was OUT, so there was no danger of me getting caught, but would you listen to me for a second?  I found something very interesting. Something that might could be used against Katherine to keep her in check.  She apparently has a pretty big secret."

Southfork....

"What kinda secret?"  Asks a curious Ann.

Falcon Crest....

"Well, you know Katherine's son, Austin Wentworth, right?"  Emma asks.

"Yeah, I do,"  replies Ann.

"And you also know that last year it was discovered that Katherine has another son by Jeremy Lord, Jonathon, who lives right here in the Tuscany Valley.   But, Katherine apparently has two more children that no one knows about."

Southfork....

"Two more children?"  Asks a shocked Ann.  "Emma, are you sure?"

Falcon Crest....

"Absolutely sure,"  says Emma.  "I found a birth certificate, and some photos.  It proves that Katherine gave birth to three babies.....triplets......Austin, another boy, and a girl."

"But, what happened to these other two?  Are they dead?"  Ann asks.

"I don't know.  But Kevin told me that Katherine is going to Dallas today for a while to see Austin, so I'll use the opportunity to do some more snooping."

Southfork....

"Emma, let ME take it from here,"  Ann says.  "If Katherine is gonna be in Dallas, I'll try and see her.  I'll use her little secret to keep her from revealin' OUR little secret.  Listen, I have to go.  I love you.  Bye."  Ann quickly ends the call.  When she turns around, she is startled to see Heather standing in the doorway.

"Ann,"  Heather says.  "What little secret were you talkin' about?"

A stunned Ann looks at the younger woman, unsure of how she was going to answer the question.

A hotel in Dallas....

Amanda steps off the elevator at the hotel she's been staying in and approaches the front desk.  "Excuse me," she says to the desk clerk on duty.

"Yes, may I help you?"

"I'm Amanda Ewing, and I needed to speak with someone about my hotel bill."

"Yes, Mrs. Ewing, you're bill is a day behind.  You should have received a notice from us."

"Yes, I did.  Ummm.....look, I don't have the money right now to pay for another night, but if you could just give me one more day, I can get the money."

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Ewing, I can't do that," the man says.

"Okay, here, ummmm......"  Amanda opens her purse and begins digging until she pulls out a Visa credit card..  "Could you please just try this card and see if it works?"

The man takes the card and scans it.  Amanda looks on nervously as the man watches the screen.  "The card has been declined.  I'm sorry, Mrs. Ewing.  You'll have to be out of your room within an hour."

Amanda looks at him, a frightened and worried look on her face.  "Thank you," she says as she turns and walks away.  She pauses at the elevator and lets out a deep sigh.  "Okay, so what now, Amanda?"  She asks herself.  "What do I do?  I only have a little money left.  No credit.  No family, no friends, and nowhere to go.  Great.  Just.....GREAT."  Taking in and letting out a deep breath, she walks out of the lobby.

Fort Worth Stock Exchange....

Ray and Heath are walking down the street at the Fort Worth Stockyards early that afternoon.

"Well, Heath, what do ya think?"  Ray asks.  "This place is really somethin', huh?"

"Yeah, it sure is," says Heath.  "Never seen more beautiful livestock."

"I got some of my best memories right here.  Use to spend a lotta time here with my Daddy, Jock Ewing."

"From the way you talk about him, he musta been quite a man," Heath says.

Ray smiles.  "That, he was. Jock Ewing was larger'n life.  They don't make men like him anymore."

"You talk about him like he was some kinda hero or somethin'," says Heath.

"Jock was a hero to me,"  Ray says.

"You were real close to him, huh?"

"Yeah.  I guess in some ways I was closer to Jock than his other three sons."

"Ray!"  Comes a man's voice from a distance.  "Ray KREBBS!"

Ray and Heath turn around and see an elderly man with a middle age man approaching.  Ray smiles when he recognizes the older man.

"Ray Krebbs, I just don't believe it,"  the older man says.

"Pat Powers,"  Ray says, shaking his old friend's hand.  "Damn it's been a long time."

"Yeah, it sure has, Ray.  How the hell are ya?"

"I'm just fine, Pat, how 'bout you?"

"Perty damn good for a man my age,"  Pat replies.  "Ray, I don't believe you ever met my son, Patrick, Jr."

"No, I sure hadn't,"  Ray says.  "Patrick,"  Ray shakes the man's hand.

"Ray, good to meet you,"  says Patrick.  "I've heard a lot about you from my Dad."

"Well, good to meet you, too,"  Ray says.  "And this is my son, Heath."

Pat looks at the young man.  "Well, now, Ray, I didn't even know you had a son."

"Neither did he, til a few months ago,"  Heath says.

Pat and his son laugh at the comment.  "Ray, y'all had lunch yet?"

"No, we hadn't."

"Well, come on,"  Pat says.  "We'll go get a big ol' Texas steak at one of my favorite restaurants here, and we'll have a few beers and talk over old times."

Ray smiles.  "Sounds great, Pat," he says.

The Cedars Social Restaurant and Bar in Dallas....

Dylan is finishing his lunch at the Cedars Social in Dallas that afternoon, taking a sip of his bourbon.  A waitress walks over.  "Can I get you anything else?"  She asks.  "Any desert?"

"No, thank you, but, I would like another bourbon, please."

"Sure, coming right up,"  the young woman says with a smile.  "Here, let me get this out of your way."  She picks up the tray containing Dylan's plate he had eaten from, and walks away.

Dylan finishes off the glass of bourbon he already has, and as he puts his glass down and

pushes it to the other side of the table, Dylan can't help but notice the young woman sitting alone a few tables away.  She appears to be very down, and she is also drinking alone, like him.  The young woman is Amanda, who is spending her last few dollars for lunch, and a few drinks to dull the pain of her current situation.

Dylan watches her for what seems like a long time.  The waitress brings his drink.

"Here you go,"  she says.

"Thanks,"  Dylan says.  The waitress smiles and walks away, and Dylan returns to looking at Amanda for a few more seconds.  Finally, Dylan gets up from his seat, takes his drink, and walks over to Amanda's table.  "Hello," he says.

Amanda looks up at him.  "Hi."

"You're Amanda Ewing, right?  You're married to John Ross's brother, Justin?"

"For the time being, anyway,"  Amanda says.  "And you're Dylan Baxter.  I remember you."

"Mind if I sit down?"  Dylan asks.

"Sure, why not?"

Dylan takes a seat across from her.  "So what brings you here like this?  You look like you're drowning your sorrows."

"You could say that.  As for why I'm here.....I don't have anywhere else to go,"  Amanda says.

"What about home, to your husband?"  Dylan asks.

"I don't have a husband.  My marriage to Justin is over.  He threw me out."

"I'm sorry.  I didn't know."

"I guess you don't read the papers or watch the news,"  Amanda says.  "And being so close to the Ewings, I'm surprised you haven't heard."

"Sorry.....I hadn't,"  says Dylan.  "So, you're here at this bar because you don't have anywhere to go?"

"That's right.  I was staying at a hotel, but, when I couldn't pay my bill anymore, they kicked me out.  I don't have any family, or any friends left."

"So what are you gonna do?"

"Amanda picks up her purse and opens it.  "Well, I have exactly........twenty-four dollars and seventy-eight cents left.  I'll sit here and drink until it's all gone, and then.....Maybe I'll find a nice alley to sleep in tonight.  At least it's spring now, so, I won't freeze to death."

"I have a better idea,"  Dylan says.

"Oh?  And what would that be?"

"We have a few drinks, and then......I take you to a hotel, get you a room."

"I already told you, I don't have any money."

"But I do,"  says Dylan.

Amanda looks at the young man curiously.  "Why?  You barely know me.  Why would you do that for me?"

"Two reasons.  I like to think of myself as a decent human being, and I'm not gonna let you sleep on the street.  And, second reason........I'm kinda down myself, and I could really use a friend."

"Is that the only reason?"  Amanda asks, in tears.  "Sure you don't want something else from me?  Like every other man I've ever met."

Dylan looks at her.  "No.  Just a friend.  I think we could both use that right now.  And a drink."

Motel 6 in Dallas....an hour later....

The door to a room at Dallas's Motel 6 flies open.  Amanda backs Dylan into the room, the two locked in a passionate kiss.  Using her foot, Amanda pushes the door closed.  Like two animals in heat, Dylan and Amanda hurriedly begin to undress, Amanda pulling Dylan's shirt off over his head as he tears off her shirt, then unhooks her bra.  Like two animals in heat, the two come together in such a passionate kiss that it would almost appear they are about to devour each other whole.  They move to the bed, where Amanda pushes Dylan down on his back, then gets on top of him.  She removes her bra, and again begins kissing him. Dylan rolls over, changing positions so that he is now on top of her as they begin to make love and Amanda adds yet ANOTHER Ewing man to her list of lovers....

The Wentworth mansion....late afternoon

A taxi sits across the street from the Wentworth mansion late that afternoon.  In the backseat of that taxi is Brian Jeffries, who watches the mansion very intensely, a look of anger and pure hate on his face.  That mansion. It probably has 30 rooms, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and every other luxury you can imagine, Brian thinks to himself.  That place should be his and Katelyn's.  They are entitled to share in the wealth of the Wentworth and Lord fortunes just as much as Jeremy and Katherine's other brats.   A white limousine pulls up in front of the mansion and comes to a stop on the street. Brian watches as Katherine and Austin get out of the limo.  Katherine and Austin.  His mother who gave him and his sister away like unwanted pieces of furniture, and the brother that witch chose to keep and raise like a prince while he and Katelyn were forced to live hand to mouth with an abusive adoptive family.  Brian's eyes are locked on his mother and brother as they walk up the steps leading to the mansion, and then go in.

"Okay,"  Brian tells the cab driver.  "Let's go.  Take me back."

The driver starts the cab, and drives off.

Meanwhile, Katherine and Austin walk into the Wentworth living room and Austin hugs his mother. "Mom, it's so great to have you home," he says.

"It's so good to be here, darling."

"How long can you stay this time?"

"A few days,"  Katherine says. "I want to see how things are going at Wentworth, and be here to oversee the release of our new drill.  Austin, I am SO proud of you for that.  Now, we have to worry about finding a buyer."

"Almost had one,"  Austin says.

"You did?  Tell me.  What happened?"

"Tripp McKay was my potential buyer," Austin says.

"Westar.  Really, I'm impressed.  So what happened?"  Katherine asks.

"McKay tried to trick me, Mom.  He neglected to tell me that he had a secret partner in the deal, and that partner was Brad Stone."

"Brad?"

"Yeah.  So, I told McKay to take a hike."

"Austin, that could have meant a lot of money to Wentworth Industries,"  Katherine says.

"I know that.  But there'll be other buyers.  Mom, you put me in charge of Wentworth Industries.  I won't do business with your brother's bastard son."

Katherine nods.  "You're right.  I have complete faith in your judgement, sweetheart."

"Thanks, Mom.  You must be tired.  Why don't you go upstairs, unpack, and I'll order us some dinner?"

"That sounds nice,"  Katherine says.  She walks to the bottom of the stairs, then turns back to her son.  "It really is good to be back.  I have quite a bit of business I intend to take care of while I'm in Dallas."  Katherine smiles at her son, then heads up the stairs.

Motel 6 in Dallas....

Dylan and Amanda lay silently beside each other in bed in a room at Dallas's Motel 6, after their passionate sex session.  Both, still somewhat intoxicated, are stunned over what had just happened between them.

"You okay?"  Dylan finally asks.

"I'm fine.  I guess,"  Amanda says.  She sits up in

bed, grabs a shirt, and slips it on.  "Honestly, I'm not sure how to feel right now."

"Yeah, me neither.  But.....it was good, though, right?"

Amanda looks at him.  "Dylan, how old are you?"

"21."

"21,"  Amanda says.  "You're just a kid."

"I'm only a couple years younger than you," says Dylan.

"3 years, to be exact."

"You never answered my question.  Was I any good?"

Amanda looks at him.  "Well, I don't know whether it was the alcohol, or you're just a naturally good lover, but......yes, it was VERY good.  Wonderful, actually."

"Really?"  Dylan asks, sitting up in bed next to her. "Thank you.  I'm........I'm not very experienced."

"This shouldn't have happened,"  Amanda says, getting out of bed.  "Justin and I are separated, but, technically, I'm still married to him."

"But, you told me the guy kicked you out of your house,"  Dylan says.  "Had you arrested for something you didn't do.  He's treated you like crap, so how can you feel guilty about having sex with somebody else?"

"I honestly don't know,"  Amanda replies, fighting back tears.  "This is like a pattern with me.  A sick pattern.  And now, I've made you a part of that sick pattern.  Another Ewing.  Oh my God, I wish I knew what it is with me and you Ewing men.  It's like I can't resist any of you."

"Amanda, I don't regret what happened,"  Dylan says.  "Look, we were both lonely and needy, and we were drinking.  We had SEX, Amanda.  I mean, people do that sometimes when they're lonely and needy.  It doesn't have to be a big deal."

"You're right,"  Amanda says.  "You're absolutely right."

Dylan gets out of bed, picks up his boxers from the floor, and slips them on.  "Man, I need a drink.  I, uh.......I think I'm gonna get going."

"Dylan, I can't take this room."

"What?"

"I can't stay in this room and have you pay for it.  It wouldn't be right, especially after what just happened."

"Amanda, I didn't get you this hotel room so you'd have sex with me.  I mean, that just kinda HAPPENED."

"I know,"  Amanda says with a sigh.

"You don't have anywhere else to go, Amanda.  And you have to stay in Dallas as a condition of your bail, right?"

"That's right."

"It's not the Omni or the Hilton, but it beats sleeping in an alley somewhere,"  Dylan says.

Amanda walks over to him and gently touches his smooth face.  "I don't know how to thank you.  But I promise, I'm gonna geta  job and pay you back."

"If that's what you want, then fine,"  Dylan says.  "I really better go."  He grabs his pants and puts them on, buckling his belt.  Then slips his shirt on, and then lastly, his shoes.  After he's finished dressing, Dylan walks over to Amanda and kisses her.  "I'll say this again.......I don't regret having sex with you.  I paid for the room for 5 nights.  If you need more money, give me a call.  No strings attached, I promised.  Just trying to help out someone else who's just as lost as I am."  Dylan walks past Amanda and to the door.

"Dylan?"  She calls to him.  He stops and turns back to look at her.  "Thank you.  Not only for the place to stay, but also for filling a void for me this afternoon."

Dylan nods, then walks out of the room.

After he's gone, Amanda walks to the door and leans against it, a tear falling down her cheek.  "That sweet boy.  Oh, God, Amanda, you're so stupid," she says to herself.

Meanwhile, outside Amanda's room, Dylan pauses as he tries to process in his mind what had happened that afternoon.  He is also thinking about how much he needs a drink right now.  After standing outside of Amanda's room for almost a full minute, Dylan finally heads to his car.

Katelyn's apartment....

A frantic Katelyn is pacing around her living room when she hears a knock at her door.  Rushing to the door, she opens it and Brian walks in.  "Oh my God, Brian, where have you been?"

"I been out, sis."

"No freaking kidding!  I come home and you're gone.  I was worried sick about you.  Where did you go?"

"I took a taxi to the Wentworth house,"  Brian says.  "I sat there in front of the place for about an hour, just looking at it.  Just thinking.  Thinking about how we should be a part of that.  It's not fair, Katie.  Austin has lived in places like that his whole life."

"I know,"  Katelyn says.  "I felt the same way the first time I saw that place, but Brian, you took a HUGE chance by going out."

"Yeah, I......I know.  I just had to see that place for myself, and I'm glad I did.  Because you know what else I saw?  You won't believe who's in town.  Mommy Dearest, herself."

"Katherine is back in Dallas?"  Katelyn asks.

"Yes she is.  Maybe this is a good opportunity.  Kill two birds with one stone,"  Brian says.

"Brian, don't do anything stupid.  You're already in enough trouble.  You need to just let this go."

"Let this GO?"  Brian angrily asks.  "I can't believe what I'm hearing.  There was a time you wanted revenge just as much as I did.  What the hell happened to you?"

"What happened to me is a wonderful guy named Jimmy Beaumont.  Brian, I love him, and I don't want anything to screw this up for me."

"Jimmy Beaumont.  Yeah, I checked out your new boyfriend, and it's pretty weird that you picked HIM to fall in love with."

"What do you mean by that?"  Katelyn asks.

"The guy's grandfather was J.R. Ewing, whose brother Bobby was married to Katherine's sister Pam.  Did you also know that Bobby Ewing is the guy that Mommy Dearest tried to kill a couple of times?"

"Yes, I do know that, but what does that have to do with Jimmy?"

"Well, maybe nothing.  Who knows, the guy may not have ever even heard of Katherine Wentworth.  Then again, maybe he's heard all the family stories.  And if he has, how do you think he'll react to finding out that you're the daughter of Katherine Wentworth?"

"He won't find out,"  Katelyn says.  "I'll make sure he doesn't."

"Mmmm......you're just deluding yourself, Katie,"  says Brian.  "You get close to somebody like that, and it's only a matter of time before all your dirty little secrets come out.  Theirs, too."

Katelyn looks at her brother.  "Well, then, I just have to make sure that doesn't happen.  I love Jimmy, and nothing.......NOTHING.......is going to stand in the way of my being with him."

Brian looks at his sister and smiles.

"Speaking of Jimmy, I have a dinner date with him tonight,"  Katelyn says.  "So I'd better go and take a shower and get ready."

"Okay,"  Brian says.  He watches his sister as she walks into the bedroom and closes the door.

The Krebbs Ranch....evening

Dusk is just beginning to settle over the Krebbs ranch that evening as Dylan walks into the house.  Conner is in the living room and meets his brother as he comes in.

"Dylan, where have you been?" Conner asks.

"I've been out,"  Dylan replies.

"Yeah, I know that, but WHERE?  I've been worried sick about you.  I texted and I called, but you didn't answer."

Dylan sighs.  "Sorry, I had my phone on silent.  Now, if you don't mind, I'm tired.  I'd like to go upstairs and change clothes."  Dylan walks past his brother and starts up the stairs.

"Yeah, Dylan, actually, I DO mind,"  Conner says.

Dylan turns to him.  "What the hell is your problem?"

"Dylan, have you been drinkin'?  And don't lie to me.  I can smell it on you."

"So what if I have?"  Dylan asks.  "I'm 21."

"Dylan, you know you shouldn't be mixing alcohol with your medication.  And not only that, you got behind the wheel of a car after you'd been drinking."

"Conner, just stay off my back and mind your own damned business,"  Dylan says.  "I'm an adult, and I don't need my big brother acting like a probation officer."

Dylan starts up the stairs but Conner grabs him by the wrist.  "Damn, this is my business. You're my brother, Dylan, and I'm worried about you.  Drinking and driving?  Dylan, that's like the height of irresponsibility.  What if you'd had an accident and hurt or killed someone? What if you'd been hurt or killed?"

Dylan looks at him for a moment.  "You're right.  It was stupid.  Conner, I'm sorry.  Hey, I had lunch with a friend, and we had a few drinks and just chilled.  I never should've driven home until I was sober, or I should've called you or a taxi."

"Yeah, you should've,"  Conner says.

"I really AM sorry.  It won't happen again.  Just.....please don't tell Ray and Donna."

Conner remains silent as he looks at his brother.

"Please, Conner,"  Dylan says.  "I don't want them to be disappointed in me.  And I'm sorry I disappointed you.  Please.....just don't tell them."

"Okay, fine, I won't tell them.  But Dylan, if you have a problem, or whatever, you know you can come to me, right?"

"Yeah, I know.  And I will.  I promise."

"Okay, I'm gonna trust you this time,"  Conner says.  "Why don't you go on upstairs and take a shower?  Ray called.  He's on his way home from Fort Worth, and Donna should be home soon.  I'm gonna go start dinner."

"Yeah, okay,"  Dylan says.  Conner nods at him, then walks out of the foyer, heading to the kitchen.  After a short pause, Dylan goes upstairs.  A few seconds later, he walks into his bedroom.  He immediately goes to his closet and takes his bottle of vodka from the shoe

box on the top shelf.  Dylan looks at the bottle for a few seconds, then opens it and quickly takes a sip, then a second, and a third.  He replaces the cap on the bottle and breathes a sigh of relief, his craving satisfied........at least for the moment.

The Wentworth mansion....

Katherine comes down the stairs of the Wentworth mansion that evening as the maid, Helen is coming into the living room.

"Helen, Austin and I will be going out for dinner tonight,"  Katherine says.

"Yes, Mrs. Channing,"  Helen says. "And I must say, it's very nice to have you home, even for a while."

Katherine smiles.  "Thank you, Helen," she says as the doorbell rings.

Helen walks to the door and opens it to find Ann.  "May I help you?"  The maid asks.

"Is Miss Went.......Mrs. CHANNING.......at home?"  Ann asks.  "I need to speak with her."

"Whom may I say is calling?"  Helen asks.

"Ann Ewing."

"I'll see if Mrs. Channing can see you."

"Oh, she'll see me,"  Ann says, barging into the house to face Katherine.

"What the hell are you doing here?"  Katherine asks.

"I need to talk to you.  Privately.  I'm sure you don't want your maid to hear what I have to say."

"Mrs. Channing, do you want me to call....."  Helen begins.

"No, Helen, it's alright.  I'll speak to Mrs. Ewing.  Leave us alone, please."

"Yes, ma'am,"  Helen says, then leaves the room.

"Alright.  Say what it is you have to say and get out.  I suppose you're here to ask me about your and Bobby's new, secret little grandchild."

"No, I'm not here to discuss my grandson," Ann says.  "But I AM here to talk about babies.  Specifically, YOUR babies."

"Would you get to the point?"

"Of course,"  Ann says.  "You know, when I found out that you knew the truth about Emma's baby, I admit, I was worried.  But now I know that you have secrets of your own, Katherine.  And I just have to wonder why you're keepin' this particular secret from your husband and everyone else."

"What the hell are you ranting about?"  Katherine asks.

Ann walks closer to Katherine and looks her in the eye.  "Katherine, I know that when Austin was born, you gave birth to triplets.  The question is........what happened to those other two babies?  And does Austin even know he was one of three?  Does their father know?"

A look of fear combined with anger crosses Katherine's face as she hears that Ann Ewing now knows her deepest, darkest secret.

Ewing Oil....

Sue Ellen is getting ready to leave her office at Ewing Oil that evening when Janice buzzes her intercom.  "Yes, Janice?"

"Yes, Janice?"

"Sue Ellen, you have a phone call on line one."

"Who is it?"  Sue Ellen asks.

"It's a man.  He wouldn't give his name."

"Thank you, Janice, I'll take it."  Sue Ellen picks up her phone and presses the '1' button.  "This is Sue Ellen Ewing," she says, but no one says anything.  "Hello?  Hello, is anyone there?"  Next thing she hears is a 'click.'  The caller has hung up.  Sue Ellen shrugs her shoulders and puts the phone down as someone knocks on her door.  "Come in," she says.

Bobby walks into the office.  "Sue Ellen," he says.

"Oh, Bobby, I thought you had left already,"  Sue Ellen says, standing from her desk and walking over to him.

"No, I was just about to.  I was wondering if you and Catlin wanted to have dinner with Ann and me,"  Bobby says.  "She said she had a couple errands to run, and she's meeting me in about half an hour."

"Thank you, Bobby, but, Catlin is having dinner and spending the evening with C.J.," replies Sue Ellen.  "I encouraged him to.  I thought it was important that those two spend some time together."

"You're right.  Well, how about you?"

"Thank you, Bobby, but Jenna is coming by.  We're going to the movies.  First time I've been to a movie in a long time."

"Oh?  Well, what are you goin' to see?"  Bobby asks.

"Beauty And The Beast,"  says Sue Ellen.  "Not my first choice, but Jenna wanted to see it, so I agreed to go with her.  Jenna has been a big help to me recently, seeing as how she went through practically the same thing that I'm going through now.  She understands."

"I'm very glad, Sue Ellen,"  Bobby says as Janice buzzes the office again.

"Sue Ellen, Jenna Wade is here."

"Thank you, Janice.  Tell her I'll be right out."

"Sue Ellen, enjoy your evening,"  Bobby says.

"Thank you.  Bobby........sometime over the weekend, I'd like to get together and talk to you. About the night Brittany was murdered."

A look of concern comes over Bobby's face.  "Alright," he says, then walks out.  As he comes

out of Sue Ellen's office, he comes face to face with Jenna.

"Hello, Bobby,"  she says.

"Jenna.  How are you?"

"I'm just fine.  How are you?"

"I'm okay,"  Bobby says as Sue Ellen comes out of her office.

"Well, Jenna, ready when you are," Sue Ellen says.

"Bobby, it's nice to see you."

"It's nice to see you too, Jenna.  You girls enjoy your movie,"  Bobby says.

"We will.  Bye,"  Jenna says, she and Sue Ellen walking away.

A few minutes later....

Sue Ellen and Jenna step off the elevator on the ground floor of Renaissance Tower, the building which houses Ewing Oil a few minutes later.  As the two women head through a set of double doors leading to the building's parking deck, they are unaware that a mysterious

figure of a man is standing in the shadows, watching them.  After the women have gone through the set of double doors, the man begins to follow them.  The mysterious man follows Sue Ellen and Jenna out of the building and watches as they head toward Jenna's car.  The man hurries to a dark sedan parked nearby and gets in.  He starts the car and watches as Jenna's car pulls out of the parking space.  He begins following as the women drive out of the parking lot and onto the street.

Catlin Oil....

Catlin's secretary buzzes his office.  "Mr. Ewing, Bill Powell is here to see you."

"Oh, thank you, Peggy.  Send him in and then you go on home."

"Thank you, and have a nice weekend."

"You too, Peggy."  Catlin stands from his seat as his friend walks into the office.  "Bill, how are you?"

"Just fine, Catlin, my friend.  I have some news for you that might just make your evening."

"Well, come on, let's have it,"  Catlin says.  "I could sure use some good news right now."

"One of my men I have checking into those missing years of Brittany's life has finally come up with something,"  says Bill.  "Brittany was involved with a man.  A man she had become involved with before she left you.  Apparently, Brittany and this man didn't see each other for quite some time, until around the middle of 2014."

"2014.  That was when I was searching for Brittany so I could get my divorce."

"Again, Brittany moved around a lot, and by September of 2014, she was in Washington, D.C., with this man.  They were still involved throughout most of 2015."

"Who is this man?"  Catlin asks.

"My guy faxed me this,"  Bill says, taking a piece of paper from the folder he holds.  He hands the paper to Catlin, who takes it and looks at it.

Catlin's eyes grow wide and his mouth drops open in shock as he reads what's on the paper. "Oh my God.  This........this can't be," he says, then looks at Bill with a stunned expression.

Oh my gosh!!! Is there someone who isn't related to someone else on this show??? Talk about so many relatives. LOL I can't believe Katherine gave Katelyn and Brian away. I'm interested in finding out why she did that and what is going to happen with them. I loved the way Ann just came barging in to confront Katherine. Now she'll know what it is like to mess with the new Mrs. Bobby Ewing. ;) Ann is much stronger than Pam ever was. She doesn't let anyone mess with a member of her family. Nice to see that Jenna is back. Love how you keep having history repeat itself in so many ways. I knew that Bill was going to find out about Brittany's ex lover. Hope Jenna at least cares a firearm with her especially since Texas has more crime going on then back in the day. I have a strong feeling this ex lover is the stalker. I just wish I knew where all this is leading up to. Suspense is murder. When do we find out who killed Brittany? Amanda needs to use protection when using sex. With the amount of Ewing men she slept with I'm surprised she isn't pregnant again. She really needs to learn to control herself. Counseling would be a thought. LOL Great episode again John!!!

I had no idea that Brian Jeffries and Katelyn Spencer were the brother and sister of Jeremy Lord and Katherine Wentworth-Channing. Jenna Wade helping out Sue Ellen is huge, and Bobby will always be a hero to the Ewing family. No doubt about it, he's the patriarch of the family; that means he's the leader of the family too.

I agree Sara. Amanda does need to use protection. She has slept with five Ewing men. What is her attraction to these men? Wow! Very surprised that she isn't pregnant either. Definitely needs to start wearing protection too, but again she is a WHORE! WHORE with a capital W! Counseling will help too. Ann proved she is plenty tough by showing up on Katherine's turf, and putting her in check. Pam is plenty tough too, she is about the woman can could stand up to JR. But Pam's weakness is she is a little too neive at times. And I can't wait to find out who Brittany's ex-lover is. Caitlin sure seemed to recognize him through his expression.

I have chills all over me after reading this episode. I felt like I was right there with Sue Ellen and Jenna when that man was following them, and when Sue Ellen got that telephone call, too. Sure hope they will be O.K. What is going to happen to Amanda? I can't help but feel sorry for her. I loved the entire episode. Still so much going on, so exciting with never a dull moment. Can't wait to read the next episode. This is getting better all the time. Thank you so much John for all your hard work. It is so appreciated. May God Bless You Always.

Your such an amazing writer. This was another awesome episode. I knew Katie was Trouble, Now she's Double Trouble. I am glad we found who the Bomber of falcon crest Katie's twin brother Brian. They started discussing their family and I realized their Wentworth's that Katherine is their mom and Austin is brother, plus they got two other brothers in all Jonathon and I cant remember the other one that's in California that Austin Mentions in I think the next Episode so yes Katherine has 5 kids in all 4 boys and 1 girl. Austin Blew Tripp a way by backing out of the Wentworth new drill deal too funny! I knew and saw that coming !!!. I am glad Jenna's in town to support Sue Ellen over her case and trial that's going on since Jenna was indicted and sent to jail once in a life time a go over Charlie's Father Naldo not Bobby even though she wanted him to be her daddy and adopt her. Catlin's digging High and low to try and help and support Sue Ellen and found that Brittney had male cousin Damian Peterson. Brad and Tripp discuss whose spying on them and who they could be spying for to sabotage their Deals ect. Its not right or Ethical but I loved John Ross listening in on Brad and Tripp's conversation lol. I love how Emma found dirt on Katherine to prove she has Triplets not just one son Austin and wonder where the other two are that she must have gave them up for adoption and Jeremy Ward don't know in stead of 3 sons his got 5 kids including part of Austin's set which is another brother and sister and that Jeremy don't know its 4 sons and 1 Daughter. Its enough information to Blow Katherine out the water if she don't keep her mouth shut about Emma's baby being Lucas's. Connor figure out that Dylan was Lying and acting weird then realized he was drinking and warned him about it. Ray gives Connor and Dylan only a half day of work do to he was going to go with Heath down to Forthworth for stock yard stuff. Connor asked Dylan to go with him and hangout play pool. Dylan about what he was going to do but he intended on drinking and that he did. Brian and Katie discuss the a abusive foster home they grew up in and how they should be apart of the Wentworth fortune. Jimmy almost seen Brian at Katie's apartment. I still says Jimmy's getting himself in deeper and deeper with her. Amanda was a day late on trying to find money to pay her bill they kicked her out. Emma called Ann about Katherine's Triplet's secret Ann loves knowing she's got something on Katherine lol. Ray and Heath Ran in to Pat Powers in Forth worth with his son too and they ate lunch together. Did anyone knows that Pat Powers Kind of looks like Punk Anderson lol. Dylan met Amanda and got her a hotel room and they sleep together. He said it wasn't for sex but his under age and his swindling her he got her the hotel for sex so he can find her if he wants a " Friend" but also gave her his number if she needed anymore help from him. If she don't watch it with him she's going to end of in jail again for sex with a minor. Brian takes a cab to Wentworth house as Austin and Katherine get home and Brian sits there and thinking about his next scheme and so him and Katie can get on a piece of the action. Katie has a fit that her Fugitive Twin Brother was out, then they discuss her keep her passed and background and life a secret from Jimmy cause he cant know that She's a Wentworth by blood and Ewings and WentWorth, Barnes Got Bad very Bad Blood with a Feud. Jimmy Knows about the Feud do to his family the Ewing's. Connor Busted Dylan for Drinking and of course Dylan acts likes his listening and his done with drinking but totally ignores Connors advice. Ann Busts Katherine about her Triplets making sure she will keep Emma's Baby secret or the whole world will know about Katherine's baby secret. Sue Ellen got a silent call at Ewing oil, Jenna shows up and they leave for a movie unknowing being followed by and unidentified man I wonder if this who killed Brittney or if its Damian Peterson Brittney's Cousin or Peter love a guy that Catlin found out that she was in a relationship with from September 2014 to September 2015. Man I cant wait to finish 139 and comment to figure Out Who this unidentified Man is? Next Episode oh I cant wait to finish reading is number 139... its only 9pm lol so I may go try to finish it now lol.

Only one word comes to mind when I think of Amanda. But I won't say it.
